RITTEC publishes new results of the revolPET® technology at the 18th Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing
From October 5th to 7th 2022 the 18th Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing (18th GCSM) took place in Berlin. RITTEC was able to present the latest results of its revolPET® technology to an international audience. The GCSM conference series serves as a global forum for representatives from industry, academia, politics and associations working on topics related to sustainable manufacturing. In addition, the GCSM aims to integrate perspectives from industrial engineering, sustainable manufacturing applications in emerging and developing countries, and education and human resources development to promote sustainable manufacturing.
The 18th GCSM took place in October 2022 in the Production and Technology Center (PTZ) of the Technical University of Berlin. The main focus of the conference was on sustainable manufacturing technologies for the mobility, energy and construction industries as well as for mechanical and plant engineering. In addition, the topic of sustainable technologies for circular economy was in the foreground. On the beforementioned topic, RITTEC was able to present a highly acclaimed lecture entitled "revolPET®: An Innovative Back-to-Monomer Recycling Technology for the Open Loop Value Chain of PET and Polyester Composite Packaging and Textiles". The paper was published in the book “Manufacturing Driving Circular Economy – Proceedings of the 18th Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing”.
Renan Franco, International Project Manager at RITTEC, represented the company at the 18th GCSM in Berlin. He presented results from the further development of the revolPET® technology and showed the ecological advantages of the innovative process.
